KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 (Bernama) — MAA Takaful Bhd has announced attrative returns for its investment-linked funds for financial year ended Dec 31, 2010.
Under its equity and balanced funds, it said the bonus units for the Shariah Growth Fund were 16 units per 100 units held, which represented a return of 21.82 per cent while its Shariah Balanced Funds gave 13 units per 100 units held, or a return of 16.69 per cent.
Meanwhile, its Shariah Flexi Fund registered a return of 5.77 per cent, the fund management company said in a statement here Thursday.
It said its income fund has declared a dividend of two sen per unit for its Shariah Income Fund, which represented a return of 5.44 per cent.
“The declaration reflects attractive returns for the funds as both Shariah Growth Fund and Shariah Balanced Fund continued to rank number one among similar takaful funds in Malaysia,” said its chief executive officer, Salim Majid Zain.
He said MAA Takaful too was the only takaful operator in Malaysia to offer the Shariah Flexi Fund.
